Safety and security are at the heart of the prosperity of any Nation. They even make up the essential condition.
Safety and security are at the heart of the prosperity of any Nation. They even make up the essential condition. No country can develop or grow economically without peaceful coexistence among its people and within its borders, at a minimum. The fastest expanding nations are those that have the best security structures or architectures and where peace and tranquility prevail. Human beings need to feel secure in order to develop, individually or collectively, while increasing their resilience.
It is in this state of mind that I wish to share my great admiration, with special attention to those people, most of them very discreet, who work in the shadows in the unconcealed interest of an irreproachable security for the protection of us all. Our guardian angels as some consider them.
Coming from different horizons in the Aerospace industry, Defense and Naval, all these personalities brought their stone to the building of our wall of protection and serenity. Their responsibility, their experience, their profession or their vocation have been recognized and distinguished at some point in their lives, in the interest of the community.
I am proud to have met and interviewed some of them and I wish I could have the opportunity to write about the all. By honoring them for a moment, I hope to make you aware of the importance of their role in a world where, unfortunately, insecurity is increasingly present.
The final issue is our resilience. This requires an ability to understand our ecosystem and the threats associated with it, as well as a great mastery of the environment to be protected.
Thus, the complementary nature of their professions, their high-level qualifications and their feats of arms, unknowingly weave the solid mesh of our protective shield.
